ABDOMINOPLASTY MODEL

The purpose of this model was for participants to familiarise themselves with removing a section of abdomen and separate the tissue from the muscle and fascia as part of a routine abdominoplasty, during which they needed to identify and gain control of bleeding using the correct clotting products and medical devices. The simulation was complete once the participant had successfully separated the abdominal tissue and gained full control of the numerous integral bleeding sites.
